Who is Jai Shankar Prasad Ji?
Jaishankar Prasad (30 January 1889 – 15 November 1937) was a Hindi poet, dramatist, story writer, novelist, and essayist. He is one of the four main pillars of the shadowy era of Hindi. He established Chhayavad in Hindi poetry in a way, through which not only flowed the rasasiddh stream of rare sweetness in the poetry of Khariboli, but also accumulated the power of depicting the subtle and broad dimensions of life, and after reaching Kamayani, the poetry became inspirational Shaktikavya. Became prestigious in form as well. Later, Progressive and New Poetry Prominent critics of both streams acknowledged his power. An additional effect of this was also that ‘Khadiboli’ became the undisputed proven language of Hindi poetry . (Source – Twitter)
