In this INSPIRE Award Department of Science & Technology has invited classes of 6 to 10 students to share their innovative ideas under the Inspire Manak Awards.
ABOUT INSPIRE AWARDS MANAK Scheme
The flagship program of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, known as the ‘Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research’ (INSPIRE) scheme, is executed by DST in collaboration with the National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST. The INSPIRE Awards – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) is aimed at motivating students studying in classes 6 to 10. The scheme’s objective is to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children by targeting one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications. Under this scheme, the 5 best original ideas/innovations of students can be nominated by schools through this website.
